Tjamsland gård

Tjamsland Farm is an organically run, traditional farm set in scenic surroundings, with settlement dating back to the Migration Period. The farm is first mentioned in written sources in 1589 as a taxable property to the king. It is known for its artisanal cheese, animal husbandry, and a cozy café serving local products. The farmyard combines well-preserved historic buildings with modern operational facilities, and the farm emphasizes sustainability and local craft traditions. The surroundings offer lush pastures, hiking trails, and beautiful views, and the farm actively participates in the local community with farm visits and events. Our guests say they enjoy the natural tranquility of the place and the opportunity to watch grazing animals and experience Norwegian nature. Even the journey up to the farm is an experience.
